Read what the parents said, they thought it wont be a problem since the kid was wearing hijab during admissions. Now that's called an assumption. Its parents onus to know each and every details of the rules ! Especially when you want to thrust them their own medievel customs !

The responsibility lies with both the parents and the school to share all pertinent information. The school did not provide the parents with the uniform requirement early on. Private school always take a large upfront registration fee, which in most cases are non refundable.

The parents could take their child to other schools if the uniform requirement was mentioned early on.

The school was investigated by the state and found to be discriminating the concerned student.
