I don't think that the CJP is unaware of these legal clauses of Pakistan according to which Ex-COAS General Raheel Sharif went on to perform his perfectly legal employment in Saudi Arabia.
The law bars any retired government employee to seek employment abroad within 2 years of retirement "Unless" an NOC application is made and approved. Raheel Sharif did all that. So why the enquiry?
Its sad that despite following the laws of Pakistan to the dot, the Ex-COAS is being targeted by judiciary because of their underlying grudge against Pakistani Military.

Why is it that every time courts call some one from military or ISI , people start targeting judiciary. Are they above law?? This mindset needs to be changed.

Legal procejure has to have a basis.
On what basis this legal procejure was started and what was the need of it?
It is a well known fact that Raheel sharif applied for NOC and was granted one. It was all over the news.
So why CJP felt the need of wasting National resources by opening an enquiry into a non issue?

Its a matter of NATIONAL SECURITY, Raheel Shareef and Shuja Pasha are clued in on sensitive state secrets. Should they be allowed to travel around the world and get hired on lucrative pay scales by foreign countries?......RECAP!!! AQ Khan was allowed to do whatever he pleased and suffice to say, now the entire freaking world knows, what happened next. Not to to mention the myriad of risks to their own security.
A shrewed move by CJP, all those who value Pakistan over individuals and institutions, will applaud the CJP for bringing a crucial issue to the fore.
