What did ISI or army did wrong during the darna? They stopped the violence from happening, they encouraged the workers to go back home and said we support you don't worry, we understand your demands. What is the problem? 1000s could have died if strict action was taken against the darna people, they had legitimate support from all over Pakistan. Pmln, PPP, Pti also did long marches and darnas but was any strict action taken against them? Only after IK removal Pti was targeted.

Looks like the Pak Deep State will give Biat to IK ASAP, like the way the Turkish Deep State did to RTE....

In Turkey, the FETO prosecutors and judges in the judiciary, at the instruction of the Imperialists, wanted to arrest the then Intelligence Chief in 2013. And, it was the last straw that broke the back of the camel as RTE became the undisputed leader of both the Deep Nation and Deep State....

The difference is Turkish people have a strong identity, education, vision. Pakistanis on the other hand are uneducated people, they don't follow an ideology but follow baradari politics, religions politics, ethnic politics. The political parties have no vision or an ideology, this is why before the elections 100s of MNAs, MPAs jump ships.

When Pakistan was created we had a powerful ideology, which was given by Allama Iqbal but the state never bothered to follow it or teach it to the population. Today no political party is following the ideology of Allama Iqbal, he was so influential that he convinced Muhammad Ali Jinnah to join him in his mission, he even changed him from being a secular to someone who accepted the importance of religion, even supported him to be the leader of the Pakistan movement, he clearly saw his capabilities and chose him on merit.

Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Qazi Faez Isa has fixed the Faizabad sit-in review case for hearing, ARY News reported.

As per details, a three-member bench headed by Chief Justice Qazi Faez Isa including Justice Aminuddin Khan and Justice Athar Minallah will hear the Faizabad sit-in review case on September 28.

A review petition was filed by the then Interior Ministry against the CJP verdict on April 15, 2019 whereas Pakistan Bar Council also pleaded to fix the case for hearing.

Faizabad sit-in case: SC orders action against extremist elements

It is important to mention here that CJP Faiz Isa had to face a presidential reference after his verdict in Faizabad sit-in case.

On February 6, 2019, the Supreme Court (SC) ordered action against extremist elements in the written verdict issued for the suo-moto case pertaining to Tehreek-e-Labbaik’s (TLP) 2017 Faizabad sit-in.

Faizabad sit-in

The Tehreek-i-Labbaik Pakistan (TLP) had held a weeks-long protest at Islamabad’s Faizabad Interchange in November 2017 against a little change in the oath lawmakers take. The court had taken suo motu notice soon after the protests.

The National Assembly had passed an amendment to the Finality of Prophet-hood ( Khatm-e-Nabuwwat) oath for electoral candidates, drawing protests from religious groups in the country. The government had withdrawn the amendment that had stirred the hornet’s nest among many.
Then this will be open soon ...........

Maulana Fazlur Rehman announces intent to block major roads nationwide in bid to ramp up pressure on PTI-led government

Maulana Fazlur Rehman on Wednesday ended the Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUIF)’s Islamabad sit-in after 13 days, announcing instead the launch of the protest’s ‘Plan B,’ which calls for blocking major roads nationwide to pressure P.M. Imran Khan to resign from office.
“We will not protest within cities, as this would trouble the common man. [Instead] we will stage sit-ins on main roads and highways,” the JUIF chief told a crowd of thousands that have been camped out in the federal capital at his behest. He added that these sit-ins would be peaceful and urged his supporters to avoid any untoward actions.
Rehman’s decision to launch his ‘Plan B’ comes after the government and the opposition failed to arrive upon any agreement to peacefully end the protest. Both sides reached deadlock with Rehman saying he would not accept anything less than P.M. Imran Khan’s resignation, while the government maintained that it was willing to negotiate on all matters except Khan’s exit from office.
On Wednesday evening, the JUIF chief said his party had decided to ramp up pressure on the government through its latest plans as “illegitimate rule is not acceptable to us.” He said the protesters did not want any confrontations with state institutions, but warned authorities that if they stopped them at one point, they would converge upon another.
Rehman said the Azadi March’s main objective to end the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s rule and demand fresh elections had not been altered. “The government believed the end of the Islamabad dharna would ease its worries,” he said. “But… we will shake them in every district of every province.”
Following Rehman’s speech, his supporters wrapped up their sit-in in the federal capital, with many leaving the campground to return to their native regions, and others preparing to participate in the ‘Plan B’ protests.
Road closures
JUIF leaders have already announced their initial plans for road blockades. Rehman’s brother, senior JUIF leader Maulana Attaur Rehman, said protesters had been asked to commence the closures from 2 p.m.
Under the plans, the following roads will likely be blocked, with an emphasis on closing the road links between the provinces:
  • GT Road between Peshawar and Rawalpindi
  • Sindh’s National Highway
  • Quetta-Chaman Road in Balochistan
  • Silk Road in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa
  • Hub River Road in Karachi
  • Road connecting Karachi to Balochistan will be blocked at Khuzadar
  • Punjab-Balochistan Road link will be shut at Dera Ghazi Khan
  • Road connecting Punjab with Sindh at Kot Sabzal in Rahim Yar Khan
  • Road linkages between Rawalpindi and Islamabad
  • Multan-Sukkur Motorway will be blocked at Sukkur

JUI-F's club-wielding activists enter Red Zone moments before SC hearing in election case

Caravan of different parties from across country depart for Islamabad
15 May,2023 02:41 pm
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - A large number of JUI-F activists and supporters on Monday entered the Red Zone after scaling a gate and overcoming other obstructions, prompting police and FC personnel to step aside.

The activists, armed with clubs, appeared in large numbers and entered the prohibited area after breaking open the gate the administration had locked to prevent their entry. The situation emerged after talks between Maulana Fazl and the PML-N leaders failed on the venue for the protest.

This is interesting. Faizabad dharna of 2017 was a fixed match b/w Nawaz and Faez Isa, to divert attention from 2016 Panama papers. Isa was very 'revolutionary' back then but was made to realize his own compromising position through the reference against him in SJC. That damning report, which details irregularities in his assets, is still lying dormant. I believe Isa would 'overturn' his previous decision, 'recognizing lack of evidence', to bury this hatchet and make good with the 'Boys'......

At the end of the day, it all matters whether you have those "few good men" who can rise above their own self-interest and sacrifice for the masses....

No one was going to die because of police action, police and anti-riot force was unarmed, they were just inches away to arrest to those fiery clerks, ISI played a dirty role, they refused to obey orders of civilian government. They tried to hide the names of sponsors, it was later confirmed that THEY were sponsoring the dharna.

ah yes, the case for which the Agriculture department targeted Justice Isa in the first place. Now they are back in front of the same Judge !

How they tables have turned !
