They pay taxes, I believe. Hence, they can complain, to their heart's liking. Just like you a Muslim, living in Britain, a secular constitutional monarchy, would be within your right, to criticize your country. Specially, knowing that most of the story, minus the usual little exaggeration, is most probably true.
What is this hypocrisy, in you guys, though? You, live in secular liberal lands, practicing your religion freely and without any compulsion, demanding more and more rights and even that your interpretation of religious law, be enacted in a country which doesn't identity with any particular religion and yet choose to deny the same (if only in your words) to minorities living in your native lands. I have been long meaning to ask somebody like you, how does it work?
I'm pretty less than 1% of Pakistanis pay taxes. Until they do, people can't complain about these sorts of things.
I was dragged here by my family. I'd happily leave, but I'm obliged to care for them. Sucks, but that's the way things are.
I don't demand more rights, I'm satisfied with the status quo. This is English land, they can do what they like. In all honesty, despite the fact that I was born and raised here, this isn't the place I consider home (tbh, I don't consider anywhere to be home, I'm a drifter). You'd better ask this question to someone like Anjem Choudry, he's the type of person you're referring to. Not me.
I have no problems with minorities, so long as they act in accordance to the law, and if in a Muslim country, don't do anything to instigate a religious conflict of some sort.
In my humble opinion, minorities in Pakistan aren't exactly very good at this. You hear stories of people creating tensions pretty frequently, and whilst the response from people can be extreme, these people do often start things or make them much worse.
Not to mention most of them, as stated earlier, are not law abiding citizens as they don't pay taxes (same goes for almost everyone else in Pakistan). Until people start paying taxes, they have no right to complain about their quality of life.
India = 20% of the world population obviously we will have high of everything in numbers , this is the reason China never revels its crime data , even though they execute 8x more criminals then india.
FYI even with our massive population gap , Pakistan is ranked more dangerous to women than India.
*per capita
Anyway, the numbers are still comparable, as they are with just about every other aspect that Pakistanis and Hindustanis compete in.
Do you are saying minorities should be given lesser rights?
Somewhat.
If they substantially differ from the majority ideologically, they should be refrained from holding positions of power in my opinion.
Other than that, they can be mostly equal.
In my honest opinion (if this conversion story is true) ..... his class fellows held no moral authority to convert him nicely or by stick, they attend the schools and colleges to get themselves educated and not convert every other non Muslim they meet.
They have every right to peacefully try and convert non Muslims, especially when they live in a Muslim majority country.
A college isn't just a place for education. It's a place to socialise as well. Might as well use the circumstance to please Allah.
