China is not a superpower. Unless it changes its policy, It look like they will never be one as they focus more on economic growth instead of military procurement. US is the world's only superpower.

As for the people that desire to be a superpower, you are in the wrong subsection of the forum. There are lots of people that crave to be a superpower but you are not as likely to find them in this subsection.

Seriously though, netizen doesn't have an influence on national decision, especially concerning matters of war.

Chinese doesn't have a very high opinion of Vietnam, not because some kind of racism or grudge, but mostly because Vietnam's overall development is nothing to write home about. Chinese respect success. For example, even though US is China's main competitor, it also have plenty of admirers simply because it is successful.

Chinese are not so harsh that we can't taking pity on the weak, but respect is only reserved for the ones actually made admirable successes.

Double citizenship is allowed by law in Vietnam. Our countrymen from oversea can protect pride of their country and nationality. Even thought they could critize VCP, on condition for that they have to provide related evidence to proof for what they did.
