Rare earth industry is a highly polluting industry. For the sake of environment, China should reduce the exploitation of rare earth.:-)
Unfortunately China's rare earth materials are irreplaceable. Most of other countries rare earth mines contain thorium. Which is radioactive and extremely poisonous metal. It is very dangerous to mine it. China's rare earth is unique because there is no thorium in their rare earth mines.

People r not seeing this:

The rare earths exports to the US were for making semiconductors n chips that china need. Now that the products are now longer allowed to be sold to the Chinese, why would they have to sell her own rare earths to rhe US? Might as well use them for herself to produce the upcoming 1s that Huawei is making

Even so, the high pollution of the rare earth industry poses a serious threat to our environment, and the industry's profits are not high.

For the sake of our future generations, it is better to reduce the exploitation of rare earth.
Does the supply of rare earth in other countries have anything to do with us?

Should we sacrifice the Chinese environment to satisfy foreigners?
It's time to cut down the exploitation of rare earth.

Exactly. Baning rare earth materials export would immediately paralyze Amercian Chip industry. Maybe some other industries as well. This is hydrogen bomb attack to American economy.

Huawei chips should first become available in the market, only then China should slap a ban on rare earth export.

.
If China smart enough, China should launch export ban for rare Earth, except in the final product.

You have the bargain, but don't use it, kinda stupid I guess.
