LAHORE: Chinese Premier Li Keqiang on Thursday praised the performance of former Punjab CM Shahbaz Sharif for development works in the province, during a meeting with PML-N President Nawaz Sharif and Shahbaz Sharif.

“The former CM deserves appreciation and applause for carrying out unprecedented development works in Punjab,” Li told Nawaz, adding, “Your brother has set a new precedent of serving the nation.” Nawaz seconded Li’s comments and said he himself was immensely impressed by Shahbaz’s performance and hard work.—INP
