This appears to be a clear case of the local man who was booted out trying to exploit local sentiments to suit his own ends & get his own back .

I agree this is a way to take revenge at the poor man!!

Nothing works faster than religion in S Asia - add the flavor of Blasphemy & you have an unbeatable combination.

Not South Asia but Pakistan. There is no Blasphemy exploitation elsewhere apart from Pakistan.

The point is once someone in Pakistan gets accused of Blasphemy his or her life's in danger - and not only his but even the people who come forward to support their innocence remember Salman Tassir - so your point that no one was hanged is moot because they already have lost their lives in a sense.
