Chinese military jet crashes in joint exercise

Beijing, Jul 19 (AP) A state news agency says a Chinese military jet crashed in northeast China during a joint anti-terrorism exercise with Russia.

The official Xinhua News Agency says the jet with a crew of two was flying over a tactical training base in the city of Taonan in Jilin province when it crashed today morning.

The report says it is not known whether the crew escaped.

Military authorities are investigating.

Calls to the press department of China's defense ministry rang unanswered. A duty officer with the Taonan city government said she was unclear about the situation.

it is said to be a 2 seater-attacker or bomber , crashed due to a blunder in piloting from 200 meters above ground in the motion of attacking. both pilots dead.

Yupp, accidents do happen..Thats not a big deal, but wat is troubling is the amount of news coming out.
If it would have been Pakistan or India , it would have been frontline news.We would have debated the cause and trying to figure out the possible reasons.
But in case of chinese we dont know anything..

i think you get him wrong,Jet crashes in every country,but "meteor shower" crash only happen in one country.you wanna know every crash in china?you have to learn chinese......
