In this clip, the BBC was really barbecued. They thought they can get away with their fake news, but the lady at the Chinese Foreign Affairs Ministry was really prepared and went through all the way and told like it: The BBC World Service is nothing but a fake news manufacturing outlet.

Yeah no shit. The BBC is a neolib zog machine, same as the rest of them. Just manufacturing news for the MIC and warmongers.

Which is why i am telling you half truths are worse than lies. What you see in twitter or Bbc or whatever is just a part of the story. China don't even have a chance to refute back.

The BBC is full of shit, but this doesn't negate the fact that China's zero covid policy is draconian and insane.

The other East Asian countries have managed covid just fine with balancing personal freedoms and human rights. China's govt. doesn't even have the instinct to respect people's personal rights. That's the difference.

That's the negative part of an authoratarian state, they can be brutally efficient but personal rights is negligible in front of national needs.

Yes, China is very extreme. This is why no matter what kind of results China achieves, other societies and countries will never see China as a model or something they want to be like.

Japan, S. Korea, Taiwan, Singapore has managed Covid just fine and people live freely with dignity. Can't say the same for China.

LOL... You really think its about human right? If there is no US, no US dollar economy. Those countries you mention will praise China as god!

I tell u, if US economy dominate or US dollar collapse. The western backbone will be break. Japan will be like during Tang dynasty and paid tribute to China.

Whoever has the biggest fist, wins the game!

You're talking about power. I'm talking about whether a system is enviable to others or not.

Everyone recognizes that China is powerful. NO ONE WANTS TO BE LIKE CHINA.

That is the difference between how China is viewed and how the US is viewed. The US is powerful and many people around the world want to emulate American ways or live in America. No one wants to emulate China because the govt has no respect for people's personal rights.

S. Korea, Japan, Taiwan have a better system then mainland China. It is much more balanced, maintaining social responsibility while still respecting peoples' rights.

You really think system like US and western are really free? They won't want to be like US where mass shooting problem and crime high rate just wouldn't go away.

Some american even hope US federal has the collective power and will to keep away crime and really protect innocent lives.

Well, i don't think China us trying to export our model, managing 1.4bil ppl is not easy, SK Korea Japan are small countries. Remember it was due to this system China managed to prosper while the whole world was burning, even now China does not have large scale lockdowns, less than 1% is under any isolation. But again i believe it's time to embrace covid, whoever needs to die must die.

I wouldn't say must die, more like will die. Xi paid too much respect for old people. The new generation is the future owner of China. If young can't even feed themselves. What is there to talk about danger of covid.

Because he is old, lol. Even though dynamic zero covid had never ever isolated more than 1% of China at any one time. The economic effects are still brutal as business takes time to recover. So, the dilemma is do we follow the rest and let the 2 mil die or we sacrifice some growth and inconvenience aka quarantine less than 7 days to preserve lives.
