Journalists - "Australia claims that Chinese spy boats are monitoring Australian ships in Fiji. What are your comments?"

Chinese Defense Ministry - “Tell the truth, Australia may overestimate its national strength

OK, now let me explain what the Chinese Defense Ministry mean - Australia? Oh no, you are not qualified to be monitored by us.

======================================================

Australia.... :-)

BTW, “Chinese spy ship”

YUAN WANG 7 measurement ship: Captain 224.9m, wide 27.2m, high 44.2m. Full load of about 30000 tons. The maximum speed is not less than 18 knots, the endurance is not less than 18000 knots, and the self sustained force is 100 days.

The main function —— track and monitor the launch of ballistic missiles. But unfortunately... There are no such missiles in Australia.

When was the last time the Chinese military have been in any real combat? Everything will look good in papers, and training only a real action will show strength and weakness. I guess in that case Australia forces have the advantage.

Individual strength does not matter. Given Australia have ANZUS treaty with the US, like Japan, China can do nothing militarily against Australia. Other than issuing threats through Chinese media.

They don't need to launch a missile, uncle sam has enough for a Christmas across the continent.

South China sea against Vietnam in 1988, a total Chinese victory, and when was the last time Aussies were in a real naval combat? Australia may show a gesture of solidarity with US, that's understandable, but that's it. Australia is the country which depends on the can be strongly affected by China economically and they are not stupid not knowing this. US won't be there in SCS for long, with the fast growing and expanding Chinese navy, US wil be grddually but surely pushed out of that region bit by bit every passing year.

Brainwashed you believe that every pro China Chinese is a paid poster, can anything be more stupid than that...China has 1.3 billion pro China people and who gets enough money to pay them?

You're just talking about a border skirmish that failed to achieve anything. I don't even consider it a full scale war. Let alone a battle. Given both sides claim victory over it.
Also, you must understand, China is not an irreplaceable country. What China export is nothing unique. If you really want to make Australia suffer, then make your country a huge market for Australian products and investments. Until then, neither economic threat nor sanctions can make a difference in Australia.

India speak for Australia economy? That's funny, hopefully India can replace China's role for Australia. When did Vietnam claimed victory for the sea battle in 1988? That's news to everyone. And since you asked about China's latest sea battle, I gave the answer already but you didn't answer me when was the last time Australian navy engaged in a real sea battle.

India is a non-issue here.

You gave me nothing other than something that happened in 1988. Don't bring up fanboy theories. I have seen plenty people claiming victory without achieving the objective. In vietnam war the real ones who caused the damage were the French and the US, that's story for another thread.
Speaking of China, I must say China neither win nor lost in vietnam as China failed to end Vietnamese involvement into Cambodia, (although successfully got closer to the western powers, namely, the US, which coincided with their ‘otherly’ motives), and Vietnam lost a major ally. Also, suffered huge casualities in the process.

As for Australian Navy, I already said, Australia is under the security of the US. So any attack on Aus is attack on US. That's why these countries have minimum forces like Japan. Chinese needs more combat experiance to take on US or any naval power with combat experiance. You don't even get invited for war games apart with Russians.

That is true Australia come under the US umbrella so does NZ, Australia - USA -NZ are treaty allies, that is why for so long we haven't built our defence forces but this are changing now. China is dreaming as usual if they think they can take us on.

Tell me —— when is Australia fighting independently? when is Australia not a dog following its master to fight?:-)

From the perspective of war experience, I think the Syria army is enough to slaughter all Australian troops.

@TruthTheOnlyDefense Come on, my little pet. Now I'm watching you. What do you want to do? What can you do?

@LASER It's obvious that he can't do anything. Because.... a dog is always a dog.

We have always fought for democracy under the UN, we have never fouth independently but we voted to fight in WW1 and WW2 etc. We are battle hardened we are a democracy we don't go around bullying smaller countries, we don't brainwash our own people.

When they kicked your *** :P

On the serious node , Australia on itself is nothing but western alliance as of now is too much powerful to be handled by China and Russia in a convential warfare however, there is no doubt that China's defence are strong and if China cannot win against allied forces as of now but it never means that they cannot defend their own region i.e. CHina main land, Hong kong and south china sea ...

.
Why would China fight a war with Australia? But if they ever go to war one on one Australia stands NO chance simple!! Australia is big country but very small population and very small economy vis a vis China. I like Australia and Australians but my sincere advise to them would be Don't start anything with China " You will not win"". Period.
