BEIJING, April 19 (ChinaMil) -- General Wei Fenghe, Chinese state councilor and defense minister, met with the visiting Pakistani Naval Chief of Staff Admiral Zafar Mahmood Abbasi in Beijing on Wednesday.

Under the guidance of President Xi Jinping’s thought on building a strong army, the Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA) will work hard to build itself a world-class army, resolutely safeguard China's national sovereignty, security, and development interests, and make positive contributions to maintaining world and regional peace, Wei said.

China and Pakistan are good neighbors, good friends, good partners and good brothers. Under the correct guidance of the heads of state of the two countries, the China-Pakistan all-weather strategic cooperative partnership has been developing soundly, Wei added.

China is willing to work with Pakistan to focus on building a community of shared future for mankind, consolidate all-weather friendship, deepen pragmatic cooperation in various fields between the two armed forces, and provide strong security guarantees for the joint building of the "Belt and Road Initiative", Wei told his Pakistani guest.

Abbasi expressed his congratulations on the world-renowned achievements made by the Chinese PLA. He said that Pakistan highly cherishes the traditional friendship with China and is willing to continuously deepen exchanges and cooperation between the two militaries in high-level exchanges, military training and technology, to promote the continuous and in-depth development of relations between the two countries and the two militaries.

. . . . .
Leasing of Chinese nuclear submarine.
Don't forget what I have said.
Watch this space.

Probably not. If there was ever a radiation leak they’d have a PR nightmare. They do not want to be the next Japan Fukushima. If it happened in their Navy they can keep it quiet...happens in the Pakistan Navy they have no control.

Its Pakistan not India, where some stupid army men forget to close the rare entrance of submarine:p

If there is some incident they’ll be on the hook to fix it. I doubt they are interested in raising a stricken nuclear sub (Kursk but nuclear) from the ocean bottom. If it was theirs they’d hush it up.
