100% self made designed Chinese Loongson CPU, used extensively in space, beidou II satellite equipment, supercomputer and most important used in all Chinese military hardware from command control system to cruise missile and DF-21D ASBM. Western and foreign nation are unable to hack or interference in the operation of PLA. Foreign nation buying Chinese military export hardware and not friendly towards western need not worry about CPU being manipulate or interfere by foreign nation.

vely good development.

Pakistan buying Chinese military hardware fitted with Chinese subsystem need not worry about manipulation by American or western. The documentary mention that during a raid by Israel Air force into Syria involved an air defense sub system happened to fit with a Intel chips. Israel making use of the weakness of that system and disable it to allow Israel has an unopposed strike.

Those Pakistanis advocating buying western sub system or military equipment needs to be wary. Western system has too many Trojan horse and is not reliable.

I agree man. Pakistan need to develop its own chip in collaboration with China. That would be excellent.

What's this new microprocessor MaPU that is about to be unveiled by the CAS?

Is it an ASIC that's been optimised for supercomputing?

Its performance is evaluated at over 100 times the traditional archtecture microprocessor.
