Chinese confidence in Pakistan’s security ‘shaken’

Seems India doesn't want stop its atrocities in Pakistan till deploying Chinese boots on Pakistani soil comes up seriously in top level meetings.
It's pretty unrealistic in my opinion that they would deploy their own troops in a bid to 'stop' attacks. For gaining experience in CT, perhaps it could make sense but overall, China has bigger fish to fry at the moment than get involved in such an imbroglio. The situation compared to the other insurgencies shows they are not as strong as the others we have had. I mean Chinese projects continued even while we faced one of the worst insurgencies since 1971 in the form of TTP.

China has plenty of experience in CT from Tibet (CIA-backed terrorism of Shadow Circus covert action program) to Xinjiang (ETIM, likely also CIA-backed). If they were to get involved they would likely keep things low-key and under the radar as much as possible.

The Chinese are not blind or deaf. Of course, we have enough knowledge of Pakistan's domestic situation.
Since the Chinese government is willing to propose the CPEC plan to Pakistan, the Chinese people are ready to bear risks and losses with their partners.
We are also a country that has tasted war and pain, we are not afraid of bleeding.
CPEC will continue to be successful, and terrorist attacks cannot stop us.

Unfortunately my friend, the reality of the situation is that CPEC will be roll-backed since our Generals have already sold this country and have decided to side with the US/NATO. Pakistan Generals are firmly in Western camp once again. This is the undeniable fact.

Thank you for your kind words. People of Pakistan are now fighting a war against the imported regime imposed on us through their local benefactors, people whose real job is to protect Pakistan against all external and internal threats are unfortunately involved in manipulating and engineering politics. This is what IK is fighting for real freedom and the people of Pakistan back him up. We will need all the support from our Chinese friends against this US-sponsored criminal and corrupt regime, and we thank you for standing wit

Independent foreign policy needs to pay heavy price, for example, inflation, currency devaluation. You can’t pursue economy prosperity and fully independence at the same time, unless you are at the scale of China. We can’t get rid of US influence totally, let alone Pakistan.

If I was in Chinese shoes I would keep relations with Pakistan but roll back these economic activities. Pakistanis are compromised at various levels including military as history has show trusting Pakistan would be fatal to the Chinese.

If China chooses to step back, it will cause more harm to Pakistan and China. Political strongman like Gen Musharraf can’t get things straighten out in Pakistan, what can we expect?
In Musharraf time, he keeps a good balance between Russia and USA, and keep very close with China. And the economy growth back then was very good, what’s his fate?

Gen Musharraf has high reputation in China, But we never intervene in Pakistan domestic affairs.

Here is a simple reason why you will always run into these issues of leaders of nations of south asia having divided alligience. You look at their sons and daughters (from both leaders of India and Pakistan). Most of them have a strong level of establishment in west. They see a future in west for their kids. This is why they will do what they do : sell their national interest to western powers in return of having a comfortable life in west.

Unfortunately, China can not offer the same. Not due to money but because as a nation China is not known to be very keen of allowing foreigners to settle permanently. That is not going to happen anytime soon. Besides, education system of all of south asian countries train its students to be comfortable living in english speaking countries. We do not learn english as a second language, we study completely in english.

So yeah, this problem is not going to go away. Leaders who will put their lots with China will suffer sabotage at the hands of those who have sold their allegiance to western powers. As they say, its the very nature of the beast.

Unsubstantiated claims.

There is no firm proof or insider information to post something as an "undeniable fact." Words matter here.

That’s why China’s rule that officials above certain level can’t have foreign assets and can’t have their kids learning And living abroad. Dual nationality is not allowed in China to make sure his citizen has enough allegiance to the country.

India does not allow dual nationality and having foreign assets is looked down up for government officials. Foreign education of kids is very common for senior government officials.

In Pakistan, dual nationality is allowed (though it is more complex in the sense the contributions of non-resident Pakistanis have been tremendous). I do not know how common and what is the attitude of Pakistanis towards foreign assets, though lately it has been pretty negative due to ill-doing of Shariff family. Lot of high placed officials send their kids outside Pakistan to study. Many highly placed defence officers retire outside Pakistan.

You can’t make right decisions when your balls is in other people’s hand. They can simply twist it when you go against their will. So I expect China having a lukewarm relationship with sharif government in the coming years.

India is no friends of China, but you are lucky to have a political strongman like Modi.

Ofcourse! Even Naizi studied in England and lived there for a considerable period of time. However, unlike these folks, he did not need western favours to move up the ladder of life. Infact, he had reached the very top of achievements and then became a political leader.

I hope China condition its investments, AID and Military deals to Bajwa's resignation.
