A delegation of Chinese Industrial Group Shan Dong Rauye called on the Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif in Lahore today (Sunday).
During the meeting‚ ways to encourage Chinese investment in the province were discussed.
The progress in the establishment of textile industry at the Punjab Apparel Park was also reviewed in the meeting.
Shahbaz Sharif said 32 billion dollar Chinese investment package will be fully implemented. He said under the package China will assist Pakistan in infrastructure‚ energy and transport sectors.
He said Punjab government has identified six places for establishment of Coal Power plants in the province.
Chairman of the Chinese company said that they will invest 119 million dollars for technical assistance in setting up of Apparel Park.
