Wow this is so stupid this guy trying to bait people into simplying accepting one view of very complex problems.

China is in a bad position and the re-education program is unfortunate but not as crazy as propaganda want to lie to the world. Unbelievable that a problem we admit exists is ugly and the government decide to solve ugly problem using one method but they will tell the lie like we are capturing all muslims and murdering them or something. CCP does not care about race or background. Han can get bad unlucky treatment like anyone. They are dealing with one social deep problem at a time and hoping in future, our sacrifices today will pay off. But nowhere is there evidence these sacrifice are as brutal as the lies show. They will show one scene of people locked away as all muslims. Why not consider just extreme views are being controlled using the re-education and most Chinese muslims are peaceful and fine?

Okay it is forced but sorry we do not want a deep thousands years of problems with our direct neighbors and distant family. We can consider them like for example give muslim minority independence from China. CCP will never allow this. Why will any country give up their territory and potentially create new enemies in future for wars? No country in modern history has done that. Okay so let's find ways to live in peace. Unfortunately CCP does not allow any religion to take too much influence and power. They think religion is dangerous. You can say CCP is dangerous but history show they are right about religion creating troubles and war. Okay you worship and think and believe whatever in private. That's where God is anyway. You want to have certain festivals and religious culture, in the past it's fine and maybe one day it will be again but if you disagree with this, try to migrate out to another free country. We are not free in that way but we may be aiming for other things. Slowly one day maybe we will have these ideas but you say religious need freedom for this, okay then why not also homosexuals, and people who want to marry cows. They also human. CCP understands society sometimes need to control for economy and everyone working towards common goal. Better physical world, then better spiritual world. Not other way around. The western countries are already high educated and rich so they can begin playing on these higher levels. First China needs forced stability and then one day we can play there or avoid and go higher.

To Malaysia, letting go of a city that was causing more issues than benefiting its economy was the push on top of racial tension. They didn't see much loss and couldn't know the future Singapore's success. CCP will never allow whole Pakistan sized land to become independent particularly not just the space but also the resources. This region is productive and important for China.

Okay yes. Malaysia and Singapore example is one that's true where this happen. I'm not aware of another example. In China's case, they gave up Hong Kong in our history because of war and forced by British. Macau is similar example. That was not willing but it's again Hong Kong also want independence. I don't think China will allow like Malaysia allow Singapore because the example are slightly different because Malaysia in the past have a problem with Singapore. China doesn't have a problem with Hong Kong but some young people in Hong Kong has a problem with being in China. Even if they become 51% wishing to leave China, CCP will not allow it. So in Singapore and Malaysia example, both sides agreed to terms of separation.
