With the belligerence China has issued lately it would be prudent to have more forces on hand in case they decide to attack. Yes I know its unthinkable, but we should be prepared just in case. Im sure missiles are already pointed at China, but we'd better be at DEFCON 3 levels of preparedness with all our other assets.

With the amount of belligerent nationalism in China and how beholden their government is to the war hawks and profiteers + victim mentality, their actions simply too difficult to predict should we show the flag with a carrier.

Fishing in trouble water, Americans expect to get away with impunity? China may not have Military capability as US, we sure do have other means such as assymetrical warfare...don't think that U.S.A is beyond our reach...cyberwar, space warfare...economy warfare...support your enemies as you support ours...alot of your enemies just wait also for this moment.

Is taking a statement from some random politician in charge of some inconsequential committee meant to represent official government policy? Politicians make a lot of noise but nothing else.
