Now back to adult discussion on the thread. Economic interests usually resolve other political and boundary acrimonies between neighboring nations. Europe matured to the current co-operation between neighbor states due to the economic advantages of remaining on peaceful terms. The EU is the largest indicator of how nations which once despised each other can become protectorates of each other due to economic advantages of working together. In a loose sense of the term, the federation of states of the United States of America is an example of various states merging to form a country due to the economic advantage of such a move. China and India clearly realise that acrimony between them will not serve their long term goal of economic growth. Their prevailing peace and mutual co-operation is paying financial dividends. India and Bangladesh have started off in that direction recently. All of these countries economies are being rewarded and will hopefully mature to full level trade co-operation which will force them into a peaceful trade confederation. Hopefully Pakistan will start stabilising on a political level soon and will start engaging on a similar level. Thereafter the sky will be the limit for Asia
