Yeah, totally crazy. In Singapore it's around 1 month per square meter and people are already complaining prices are too high, because we keep comparing to next door Malaysia lol. You can settle for a smaller apartment for a significantly lower price though, since smaller apartments are subsidized more heavily.

Those young 外地人 in Beijing/Shanghai have my admiration. It might actually be more worth it to rent, since in China the rent/price ratio is very low. After all the value of an asset is the present value of all future cash inflow. 别听什么六个钱包瞎说。

依我看除非是顶尖人才或富豪,在中国对于外地人来说 二线城市生活质量高过一线城市。
