China's latest luxury phone packs a massive 7,000mAh battery

.
Indian prefers very low-end smart phones.

As per Gartner, the Average Selling Price (ASP) of smartphones in India is $70 and smartphones under $120 contribute around 50% of overall smartphone sales here. Now consider the pricing of the new smartphones launched in China. The Mi Note 2 starts selling at $413 and goes all the way to $516 for the high-end variant. The Mi Mix starts at $516 and goes till $590 for the high-end variant. Lastly, the Mi 5s is priced at $295 for the base variant and goes all the way to $385 for the high-end Mi 5s Plus.

And their annual sales of smart phone equals our sales in one quarter.

China's high-end phones won't even enter indian market because of their very low purchasing power. Xiaomi sells its low-end Redmi to indian, but will never launch bezel-less Mi Mix. Apple does not have one single flagship store in the shining supa powa, whilst in China it opens everywhere though iPhone is not even among top3.

Huawei's high-end phones have been launched in Germany.

You know what, the middle-end One Plus to average indians is some sort of luxury.

Luxury for India means lots of white servants. That's it. Luxury is not defined by technology; it is defined by class relations.

Seriously how many of the chinese posters are going to shell out 2500 usd for a gionee ??
Pl. put your money where your mouth is and then we will talk.

.
Pay 2500 $ for a chinese phone with a outdated processor ? Even chinese are not that stupid. Its going to fail massively unless price is brought down to 250 usd .
Obviously that phone isn't intent to target the Indian mass so I don't see why they would even drop the price down. And believe me, there are going to be people who will buy it if they can get a phone to operate for 24hrs, as the article say, business people.

there are loads of things in modern wrold that confined Indian wont understand,
for example:
1. Chinese products are 'fake' and 'low quality'```then why their high tech product exports are bigger than U.S, Japan and Germany combined````?
2. India is innovation 'driven' economy with robust knowledge 'driven economy' ````then why India poses no postition at world's innovation and high tech field```?
3. China only 'copies'```then why according to Western professional institutions they are leading world's industrial design and engineering patent applications, and leading force of world's E-commerce and IT technology``?
4. India has 300 million 'middle-class'```then why their modern appliances consumption is smaller than a Chinese province?

so kid, you think you know China, but in reality your knowledge about us is right next to nothing

oh, btw, in terms of the tradition of consuming luxury and quality goods, you Indian are at least 30 decades behind West and China

This is rich by someone from a country that can't and don't make a single lithium battery cell.

Come to think of it, India doesn't mine a single gram of lithium, nor does it make any lithium salts/chemicals, nor for that matter, manufactures any materials(cathode, anode, electrolyte and separator film etc) that go into a lithium/lithium-ion battery.:lol:

Battery modules? NO. BMS? NO. Battery PACKs? NO.:wave::wave:

. .
Another day, another lithium battery project, this time 5 billion RMB investment for 8GWh of lithium-ion power battery :D
