该项目由我校牵头,北京控制工程研究所、西北工业大学、国防科技大学和上海航天控制技术研究所共同参与。该项目主要研究空间翻滚目标捕获过程中的位姿、形态测量、估计与模型、空间非合作目标交会的多约束智能自主规划与控制、空间非合作翻滚目标的超近距离航天器位姿跟踪和空间非合作目标组合体的快速稳定控制,同时开展空间翻滚目标捕获航天器控制方法的地面及空间实验验证,实现非合作目标航天器交会的多约束控制、非合作翻滚目标航天器的位姿估计与跟踪控制、变构型航天器联合体的姿轨控制3个方面的理论突破;同时突破相对失效目标航天器高精度姿态指向跟踪的超近距离强迫伴飞控制、非合作翻滚目标捕获后联合体的快速姿态稳定控制等关键技术。

项目依托我校航天飞行器的鲁棒控制理论与应用、机器人基础理论与关键技术两个国家自然科学基金委创新研究群体和机器人技术与系统国家重点实验室、小卫星技术国家发改委国家地方联合工程实验室,项目组成员中有国家杰出青年基金获得者3人、“长江学者”4人、“千人计划”专家2人;项目组获得国家级科技奖励11项,在相关理论研究方面处于国内外领先水平,并完成了多项空间演示验证项目。
