How small is the most compact washing machine in the world? When you are thinking about the question, you must make considerations about the size of televisions (parameters, images, articles) or microwave ovens in your subconscious. Therefore, the latest washing machine Hair ‘ Coton’ can give you a big surprise, this product can be put in your pocket, and its size is the same with a shaver.

‘Coton’ is a nickname. It is a super-mini washing machine with the model HCW-HW1, which is the product belongs to AQUA, a subsidiary of Haier brand. The original purpose for research and development of this product by Haier is to wash away smaller stains of wine, blood and so on. Usually a large part of our clothes are contaminated by those small stains. That is really not worthwhile washing the whole cloth because of a small grease stain, furthermore this is not also environmentally friendly. Accordingly Haier HCW-HW1was born, which features the partial cleaning.

Haier HCW-HW1 looks like a handheld blender with the height of 176mm, diameter of 46mm and weight of 200g, which is powered by three 7th batteries. The new product differs from the general washing machine-it has no the wash bucket as cloth container. When you use it, firstly put the oil-absorbing sheet on the back of the dirt part of clothes; secondly apply the liquid detergent on the dirt part; then spray water at the dirt part with Coton as you are patting ; finally the dirt will be surrounded by the detergent and be moved to the kitchen oil absorption. This washing mode is called ‘squeeze washing’. It is introduced that washing once with HW-HW1 is required only 10mL water and lasting time 30 seconds, which is not only extremely environmentally friendly, but also few damage to the fabric.

HW-HW1 will start selling in early March. The first region on sale is Japan, and the price will be 570 RMB570. This product is a perfect supplementary for ordinary home washing machines.

Chinese chefs can excel with a chopper、a chopping block and a wok。

Western chefs need an army of cooking tools and machines just to make the most basic of foods。:D

Talking about the miscellaneous cooking utensils in a western kitchen。。。:enjoy:

not to mention surviving the blazing heat inside the kitchen in front of the wok

useless and idiotic product... further, it promotes two useless/wrong things ( consumerism and alcohol ) and creates another line of pollution ( its factories, its offices and its workers indirectly ).

China's Haier opens largest overseas R&D center in Japan's Saitama

China's Haier Group, a white goods giant, on Thursday started operating its largest overseas research and development center in Saitama Prefecture in Japan.

The R&D center will focus on fundamental research, new product planning and key technology design over white goods led by refrigerator, according to the center's chief Shi Zhenyu.

Shi said the center will continue to attract Japanese and talents from other countries on the field, in a bid to develop more popular white goods to meet consumer demand, adding the center will also put an eye on developing smart and network home appliances.

Kiyoshi Ueda, governor of the Saitama Prefecture, welcomed the opening of Haier's largest R&D center and said the center will contribute to local economy and development through providing more jobs.

Haier invested some 7 billion yen (about 58.11 million US dollars) in the center, with 200 researchers working in the center.

Haier was founded in 1984. In January 2012, Haier purchased Sanyo Electric Co.'s appliance business from Panasonic Corp.

If u so look down upon their innovation, can u create your own Haier? Or only pollution-free call centres and IT outsource base are accepted? And building HSR also makes for pollution, so keep using your old style train?
btw, i don't see any serious discussion about the train accident in your news websites or South Asia forum in PDF. 2 days later, it was history to you.

I was inspired by Haier's story, from a shabby state-owned factory for low-equality refrigerators to today's innovative giant.

When he arrived in 1984, Zhang decided that improvement was needed to the factory's quality control. In 1985, a customer brought a faulty refrigerator back to the factory and showed it to Zhang. Zhang and the customer then went through his entire inventory of 400 refrigerators looking for a replacement. In the process he discovered that there was a 20 percent failure rate in his merchandise. To emphasize the importance of product quality, Zhang had the 76 dud refrigerators lined up on the factory floor. He then distributed sledgehammers to the employees and ordered them to destroy the refrigerators. The workers were hesitant; the cost of a refrigerator at the time was about 2 years worth of wages. Seeing their distress, Zhang said: "Destroy them! If we pass these 76 refrigerators for sale, we'll be continuing a mistake that has all but bankrupted our company." The refrigerators were destroyed. One of the hammers used is on display at company headquarters as a reminder to posterity.

In 2014 the Haier brand had the world's largest market share in white goods, with 10.2 per cent.
Haier has 24 industrial parks, 5 R&D centers, 66 trading companies, 143330 sales outlets and more than 70,000 employees around the world. The product range comprises of over 15,100 models in 96 categories. Continuous innovation is the soul of Haier’s corporate culture. Haier has been widely recognized as a leader of nine products in terms of domestic market shares and the 3rd player of three products in the world market and world-class company in the fields of home integration, network appliances, digital and large scale integrated circuits and new materials. Haier has long attached significance to innovation in satisfying the demands of worldwide consumers and realizing win-win performance between Haier and clients. Haier has currently obtained more than 7,000 patented technology certificates and 589 software intellectual property rights. Haier has hosted and taken part in modification of about 100 technological standards. Haier technology of safe care water heaters and dual drive washing machines has been proposed to the IEC Criteria.

Someone always talk much and dream much, how easy is it to manufacture white goods?
That's why East Asia and ASEAN are successful or on the way to success

Haier is trying hard to adapt to every local market, designing the most appropriate products based on different consuming markets

I like the idea that hotels would/should be keeping those. Spilling of liquids and food items is routine in hotels. If they are carrying those, they can clean the spot for themselves as well as customers. That use-case is more compelling than individuals carrying them in their pockets.

There is no need to wake up people who prefer living in delusion and denial。:azn:

I guess Indian women do a good job of manicure day in and day out, thereby keeping their fingernails short。

No hindrance therefore to handwashing spots of stains :D

Incredible country.

If u so look down upon their innovation, can u create your own Haier?

i have been designing a microprocessor since 2008, only the second design from the east, after the ussr elbrus series. :)

and it is a radically innovative processor, and includes a clock-less instruction architecture.

i wasn't looking down on the company... i only said this product is useless and frivolous, a artifact of modern consumerism that sadly has afflicted china too.

btw, i don't see any serious discussion about the train accident in your news websites or South Asia forum in PDF. 2 days later, it was history to you.

sincere thanks for reminding me of this incident... i will either reactivate that thread ( if exists ) or will create a thread for it.

i am socialist... every real tragedy affects me.

i was busy arguing with the mad supporters of the hinduvaadi right-wing who form the present indian government... it is these people who are buying weapons from usa and israel while incidents like this train accident or farmer/student suicides happen.

please find my 3000+ posts in the south asian threads or in the west asia or international threads... you will see there what i say here.
