China’s C919 commercial jet aspirations are overblown and no threat to Boeing or Airbus

B737 Max crashed is not accident but becos of greedy Boeing executive who decide to cut corners to maximize profit with less testing and sensor to ensure the auto pilot system work with the most minimum cost. They rope in FAA to carry out the evil deed.

The crashed can be avoided.

And the software for 737 Max farmed out to Indians to write.

And Indians from Indian skools:yay::yay::yay:

And innocent folks around the world paid the price for those than came from Indian skools
:enjoy: :enjoy::enjoy:

Beijing’s plan to make its own commercial aircraft to break up the duopoly of Boeing and Airbus remains a costly pipe dream, according to a Washington-based think tank.

While Beijing has pumped at least US$45 billion into the Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China (Comac) to make commercial planes, including the C919 passenger jet, the odds that China can make the project a success “are between slim and none”, said Scott Kennedy, a senior adviser at the Centre for Strategic and International Studies who is responsible for the research.

It is a threat to Boeing and Airbus when it threatens their market share in China alone. Both of the big 2 were eyeing hundreds of orders from Chinese airlines. Now they will lose share to Comac.

Washington mouthpiece echoes another Washington mouthpiece for worthless propaganda about China making bold yet unsubstantiated claims to deny and cope with China delivering yet another success story. Indians rejoice when stumbling over the pile of manure and start flinging it around.

Do they ever get bored of this repetitive ***** or ever reflect and think "hey this is retarded, everything I say and do from morning to evening is really just retarded and making the world a worse place, maybe there is something more valuable to do with my life"?

THe guy is basically arguing - do not put any import restrictions on component to c919 because it will never amount to much. Just book profits exporting to comac knowing that comac can do nothing with them.

But one thing i dont understand is these relentless arguements that plane is not truly COMAC because parts are made by others. So what ? iphone displays are made by samsung or lg or boe, chips fabbed by TSMC etc but nobody says oh iphone is not really Apple.

Those fools are just selective in their argument. They have no real stand.

Once C919 is ready, Boeing and Airbus are finished in the Chinese market. COMAC will dominate the Chinese market.

Considering China will become the largest aviation market in the world, that’s a big loss of money to Boeing and Airbus.

Maybe not the 737 max, but other models? Definitely.

In fact, both Boeing and Airbus have massive backlogs that will take years to deliver.
You mean the backlog that just had 500 orders crossed off leaving 5000 orders down from 6000 in the backlog two years ago? A loss due to 737 cancellations that was not compensated by increased demand for other Boeing models, leaving Boeing with negative net orders for both 737 and overall models.

Nowadays Boeing and Comac are in not so much different situations. Both are heavily state backed and state protected companies that have to gain or regain ground and reputation with new models.

when you decide to take out time to look into a subject matter, do a quick google and write about it than it means the bloody thing indeed had some weightage around it
