China worried over possible US sale of drones to India!

Triton has a prohibitive upfront price & life cycle costs with almost similar capabilities as Guardian!!! India is not still there economy wise, where it can have/acquire weapon systems it wishes for.

Other than that, It is still unknown If US is agrees to sell Triton to India. If It does then under what conditions and what would be the acquisition time frame!!!

Mate,we are acquiring 22 prices,think about the life cycle cost of 22 guardian drones,it's spare parts inventory etc. But a platform like Triton won't need in huge number,less than 10 will be sufficient for IN to have a continuous watch over IOR. Guardian doesn't bring us huge capabilities leap over existing heron UAVs,it more like a political purchase to please uncle Sam.
