China will roll off a new generation of self-developed driverless maglev trains with a designed speed of 200 km per hour in early 2020, according to its lead developer.

Once put into operation, they will be the fastest maglev trains for commercial use in China. CRRC Zhuzhou Locomotive Co.,Ltd. leads the efforts to develop the trains.

Zhou Qinghe, chairman of the company, told reporters Sunday prior to the annual session of the national legislature that new technologies are being used to enable the trains to travel faster and have greater hill climbing power. The latest maglev trains are also equipped with a "powerful brain" to realize safe and reliable autonomous operation.

Zhou, who is also a deputy to the National People's Congress, said the new trains are suitable for inter-city or urban transit between 50 and 200 km in distance. They will also be the world's first maglev trains to run at 200 km per hour, he added.

2月18日上午,济南市近期重点工作抓落实会议召开,其中提到加快构建以济南为中心的“米”字型高铁网,建设济南至泰安高速磁悬浮建设运营示范线。未来,工作在济南,居住在泰安的市民,将不再担忧路程问题,济泰之间穿梭,或许仅需一首歌的时间。

山东“四横六纵三环”高速铁路网,泰安是重要一点

资料显示,说到济泰之间建设磁悬浮列车,其实早在几年前的人大代表建议中已经提到。2013年,在全国人大十二届一次会议山东代表团分组讨论现场发言中,全国人大代表翟鲁宁表示,“低速磁浮交通”很适合济南与周边城市发展1小时都市圈的需要,未来济南到泰安间有望最先开通“低速磁浮列车”。2017年中国民营经济发展峰会也提到,高速磁悬浮列车将于“十四五”“十五五”进入山东进行商业运行,山东实现“四横六纵三环”高速铁路网将预留用高速磁悬浮列线路车,泰安亦是山东高速铁路网的重要一点。

磁悬浮列车,一个熟悉而又陌生的词语。据了解,这是一种采用无接触的电磁悬浮、导向和驱动系统的磁悬浮高速列车系统。在我国,磁浮技术与磁浮列车教育部重点实验室设于西南交通大学。从1986年西南交通大学启动磁浮技术研究开始,30年来,西南交通大学从零起步到全面掌握磁浮交通系统工程化技术,形成可推广应用能力,走出了一条我国磁浮轨道交通自主研制之路。目前,我国中低速磁浮交通已实现产业化,高速磁浮正在积极推进中,磁浮交通已经成为我国未来轨道交通的发展方向,探索更高速度范围的超高速磁浮交通技术发展战略具有重要的引领意义。

肥城企业掌握磁悬浮控制技术,并参与国家标准制定

记者还了解到,高速磁悬浮交通系统关键技术课题是山东省承担的国家“十三五”重点研发计划专项,我省在高速磁悬浮列车研究领域也取得了突破性进展。2018年1月,中车青岛四方机车车辆股份有限公司方面透露消息,时速600公里高速磁浮交通系统技术方案在青岛通过专家评审,这标志着由其牵头承担的国家重点研发专项“高速磁浮交通系统关键技术”课题取得重要阶段性成果。济泰之间选择建设高速磁悬浮列车,正是把握时代脉搏、引进尖端轨道交通技术,缓解交通运行压力、打造济泰文化旅游一体化品牌、促进融合发展的重要举措。而且,建设运营示范线,有利于抢占磁浮交通的技术研发、自主知识产权和成果产业推广优势,为山东省高端装备产业增添新动能。

一个更加让泰安市民兴奋的消息是,肥城市一家公司与磁悬浮列车建设有着密切的关联。据了解,磁悬浮列车的关键核心技术就是磁悬浮控制技术,落户于肥城市新城街道办事处孙庄社区的山东和顺电气有限公司就拥有这种技术,公司每年定向为中国北车生产悬浮控制器。该公司取得了悬浮控制器的适用电源、散热系统、电抗器、主控驱动隔离外壳等方面的专利技术。2017年西南交大设计开发的中低速磁浮列车在上海试验场成功联动调试,该项目的核心控制系统——悬浮控制器便是由肥城的山东和顺电气有限公司与西南交大牵引动力国家实验室联合研制,并参与了国家标准制定。据了解,项目后备技术充分,将为城市轨道交通带来巨大变革。

听到济泰之间建设磁悬浮列车的消息,泰城市民对于这则消息的探讨可谓沸腾火热。“泰安居住,济南上班,还真是同城了”“泉城加山城,山东的旅游业又提升了”“济泰同城可期”“一山一水带动了两座城市的迅速发展”“济南到泰安,一首歌的时间啊”……记者了解到,目前,上海建成了运营速度430公里的国际首条商业运营高速磁浮线,科研人员预计在2020年可研制出时速600公里高速磁悬浮样车,既可用于长途运输,也可用于快捷通勤,将大大缩短出行时间,实现当日往返已不是难事,是大家出行的不二之选。

Can you shed some light on autonomous driving market in China? I mean some points which are hidden from Internet? Like major research groups or companies or any upcoming project.
In Europe, I think majority of automotive services will be driverless within 10 years. Work here is going on fast pace.

Lots of companies such as Tencent, Alibaba are involved. State research institutes, as well.

But, the OP is autonomous public transportation, and in this, CRRC is in the lead. BYD does own its own driverless tech, as well.
