Yeah, it is. But we really don't need to join the umbrella of OBOR right?
India haven't completely shut door on OBOR. We have sovereignty issue over the flagship project of OBOR. And if we attend such a summit, we will be making a politically suicide move, both domestically and Internationally.
Let's say hypothetically, a multilateral project that passes through South China sea, let's say your economic rival US is pushing it through with Japan, South Korea and many countries in the vicinity. Then US asks China to Join the project as it benefits them too. Would you happily accept the invitation or pull red flag on it.
Now the same applies to India too. But you guys don't understand it unless something similar blow up on your face.
