China threatens Canada with 'grave consequences' if Huawei CFO not freed

You shouldn't reply to a Western running dog. Give him to me. I will educate him to be a "people"

I now understand why India and Pakistan hate one country at the same time.

LOL @ "Western Running Dog".

Pakistan and India hate each other far more than either hates BD.
In fact BD and India has very cordial relations at the moment.

Anyway carry on your whining at Canada as that is all you can do.

.
China can't do shit. I'm neither pro US or Pro China but lets get real China can only whine on its state controlled media.

Nah I hate Bangladesh more then India.

Well, the only thing I'm sure —— Iran does not need your technology. Don't worry, you are safe.

What?? China complains about Canada?? You think too much.

Oh sorry, your level of social development is too low.

Can you read English? WTF has Iran got to do with my post? What a dumb clown, probably another Chinese 50c government paid tool.
Sorry, do you know this thread? Or do you read the news?
Please try to understand the news, don't look like an international clown.

@Nilgiri at a certain time. I think you are right.

Some small countries can't find their place in the world.

Not disagreeing here but wrongly timed actions have consequences whether they are right by law or not

It being right or wrong is a separate debate but for Canada 2019 will be really bad as both China and USA are interested in putting the squeeze on em

Canadian economy is doing fine, esp with USMCA now signed (pending ratification).

The scale of trade between US and Canada is massive (esp when services also added in). The stuff Trump was posturing about makes a tiny % of the total trade (which is largely just copy and pasted now into USMCA).

Don't take it too seriously friend. Every country has many people of different opinions.

As time will pass and Trump will get under further pressure nationally and internationally trump will reignite the we are being taken advantage of debate and put further tariffs out of the blue
Just like UK there is uncertainty for economic future of Canada due to external factors the investors will be cautious

That will be directed towards China if you look at size of their trade surplus with US compared to Canada (which actually has trade deficit with US when services included).

In 2017, Canadian goods trade surplus was 17 billion USD and service trade deficit was 25 billion (so 8 billion deficit in total with US in total trade). Even if we look at just the good trade surplus (17/582 = 3% of goods trade) for Canada-US....China scale and ratio way higher: 335 billion deficit of 710 billion total trade (47% of total trade).

So obviously China gonna take 15 times the heat first than Canada ever potentially would now (esp with USMCA deal reached and signed).

USMCA is robust deal and Trump is pretty happy with it because he got lot of concessions on his talking points (farmers, auto industry namely from Canada and general manufacturing from Mexico). It wont be revisited (given clear priority scale rests big time with China), if anything the judicial cooperation here between US and Canada will augment Trump's focus on China if the current tariff-peace period bears no deal at the end.

Only real jitters in Canada regard its energy sector given pipeline protests in BC and market price of oil making tar sand oil noncompetitive (and thus production stopped, revenue stopped and jobs blowback on it which will take some time to absorb in other sectors). General industry and services is doing fine with the stability that USMCA has given to mid and long term (and it not being too different from NAFTA in the large 90% throughput of trade between US-Canada).

Nationalise Canadian owned industries in china

Name any of note first. Capital stock of Canada in China is limited to begin with (and critical sectors generally done through holding companies based in US) and next to nothing in 51%+ ownership assets (given Chinese law here in first place)...where "nationalisation" even enters the discussion.

China will not damage its economy any more by doing such things (if you know how credit rating and investor sentiments work w.r.t knee jerk reaction...especially one crossing into economic realm from political realm).

China will blow some hot air and words....thats about it. The real interesting part starts when this lady is in US facing the court there....that will be between US and China.

China cannot do anything to Canada, mark my words,
I've marked your words and i believe you are underestimating China. It might end up looking like China didnt do anything, but that doesnt mean China cant retaliate against Canada. Afterall, Canada doesnt have the power of China in teh world. thats facts. US is main country China is worried about and focused on. Afterall, US military is really Canada's military.
she will be extradited to US and will face charges against her.
I agree. I worry China wont let this woman go "down" without retaliation.

While US overall is stronger than China, i am getting worried that US will provoke CHina to a point that China will have to react aggressively, and i'm not sure US govt is actually prepared for that scenario.Cornered dog gives nasty bite.

i think china should launch it's ships and submarines towards canadian coast.i think as a country,it's very humiliating situation for china.if there is any pride, they should target canada.crackdown against canadians in china is necessary.capture a high profile canadian and bring him to chinese court.americans are using canadians as slaves for their own purposes.she is the daughter of the founder of company so it's very humiliating for china.there must be accountability.it's like you are inviting someone for a war.if canada transfer this woman to america, than it will be big blow for china.do whatever it takes to bring her home.this case is just the beginning.if china allow these developments than more powerful chinese people will be captured in the same way.it's about pride and canada is inviting china for a war.canada must understand that she is still the citizen of china and they can't capture someone just because americans requested it.
The counterattack is coming. First we will kick HSBC and Standard Chartered out from Hong Kong and mainland. The Americans said that these two banks were the "victims" of Huawei's "fraud". The Americans are already trying to smuggle weapons into Hong Kong to start an armed revolt but the Chinese intelligence agencies are intercepting them. Canadian citizens and American citizens living in China will be arrested.

The Americans are likely to freeze assets of Chinese companies in US banks. Then China will nationalize all American company assets in China as well as sell all remaining US treasury bonds.

The great schism between the Chinese economy and the dollar economy is coming imminently. Wall Street believes a recession is here. Actually, it will be deeper than the Great Depression by far.
