The virus will cost china tens of billions of dollars. All trade in wuhan has been largely been suspended. Tourism and business travellers going in and out of China have been affected. Certain sectors of chinese population need to decide, if eating wolf pup, bat and civat cat soup is worth it?!?

Anyway, China also have death penalty on drug smuggler, but that drug trade still rampant in China, death penalty doesn't work, if people are desperate enough and poor enough, they will try everything.

You need to address the market and not punish the people who do that.

When you trade wildlife which creates a virus leading to the deaths of 131 people then you have blood on your hands. They need to be executed publicly to bring in fear to stop this practice. This western mentality of human rights for criminals is bullshit. You can't stop crime 100% but you can still give justice to people.

Coronaviruses have been traced to bats. Obviously the wildlife trade is the cause of these viruses being passed to humans, whether it is by unsanitary handling or consumption. This trade needs to be banned period. It is a small minority of disgusting and selfish people who are endangering the whole world.
