China tells all mosques to raise national flag to 'promote a spirit of patriotism'

Is nationalism not a part of Islam???

Loving your country is not wrong and loyalty with land is not prohibited within few limitaion but
Why China feel such insecure that they want to put their flags at places of worship which suppose to be spiritual places not army headquarter ? Nowhere in world you see mosques, temples, churches raising national flags to prove their loyalty with countries of residence ..even if you raise flags at building then how its going to change your heart or emotional connection toward particular country ..its just show off

China feels insecure because countries like Turkey have been sponsoring a terrorist group called east Turkmenistan that killed hundreds of Chinese citizens in 2007. I am not saying that the majority of Muslims are terrorists; in fact, 99% of them are very peaceful and friendly. Having a Chinese flag would make Islam more acceptable to the Chinese public.
