China Squashes Attempted Tunisia-Style Revolt the JASMINE REVOLUTION

Yes, WWW was invented by CERN. US can only turn off the Internet for the US. The backbone is owned by companies like Global Crossing (which is HK/SG), etc.

Well USA in a sense did 'own' most of the internet as most of the ICANN root servers were physically based based in the USA. (ICANN is responsible for resolving IP adresses into top level domains)

Now most of the actual servers are 'distributed' all over the world, but some still remain in the US

The Internet is an American invention.

...

Stop BSing!

1st, Internet is not a one person's or one nation's invention.

For instance, World Wide Web was invented by Tim Berners-Lee and Robert Cailliau in 1990. Both men made proposals for hypertext systems. In fact, the binary number system, which forms the basis for nearly all nowday's computation, was first invented back around 1679 by Gottfried Leibniz.

2nd, even if US invented it, does that mean only US can censor it but any other country?

You have serious medical condition, the fanatic.

.
No...They are not. It is not difficult to find debates about them.

So?

Nothing has been changed. That's the point.

A 'bill' is not a 'law'.

Are you imaging a law without a bill?

The Internet is not about wiki-leak. Just like the Watergate scandal was not about 'the press'. Hilarious argument indeed.

wiki-leak is fueled by internet, just as killing is powered by guns, or it wouldn't be that powerful.

Hilarious!

The Internet was originally ARPANET...

ARPANET - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Advanced Research Projects Agency Network (ARPANET), was the world's first operational packet switching network and the core network of a set that came to compose the global Internet. The network was created by a small research team at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) of the United States Department of Defense. The packet switching of the ARPANET was based on designs by Lawrence Roberts of the Lincoln Laboratory.
What Lee did was made communication on this physical structure EASIER than originally made.

In fact, the binary number system, which forms the basis for nearly all nowday's computation, was first invented back around 1679 by Gottfried Leibniz.
Good...Then we can regress all the way back to when the wheel was invented...

Yes.

Yes...You debunked yourself. Until a 'bill' become a 'law', nothing has been changed.

Are you imaging a law without a bill?
No...But a 'bill' is not a 'law'. It is only a proposal that needs to be debated upon and in no way a guarantee that it will be approved into 'law'.

wiki-leak is fueled by internet, just as killing is powered by guns, or it wouldn't be that powerful.
No...wiki-leak is fueled by personal motivations. The Internet merely made information dissemination much quicker and wider in scope.

Hilarious!
Yes...Your arguments so far has been laugh-a-minute.

Thanks for showing your lunatic face again!

pretty lunatic.

Go back to the topic: China will disappoint a bunch of lunatics again this time, because the Chinese are mostly happy with their life, much to the lunatics' horror.
