China space station’s giant robotic arm sparks concerns in US

Instead of that it is much easier just to launch a friggin missile.
The arm can capture the satellite as a war booty. Missile cannot. The captured satellite will be high value asset because it,like German subs during WW2, might help unlock the encryption

How are you planning on bringing it back to earth for examination by a team of pros? They going to chop it up in orbit and hold the pieces in their laps in the return capsule?

The only craft to have plucked a satellite (actually two) from orbit and landed with it is the Space Shuttle in 1984.

"For Sale" sign refering to the two satellites, Palapa B-2 and Westar 6 that they retrieved from orbit

The second will be Starship Cargo.

Perhaps the arm would drag the satellite back to space station. Then human could put it to return capsule. If the secrecy is needed, the arm might try to destroy communication equipment physically before dragging

. . .
Missile create debris.robot arm can push the satellite off track and send it to earth atmosphere and self destruct.
Ahh now ic the relevance
