You think 2% or 4% interest rate really matters to China. China's attitude is very clear: if it goes with 2% interest rate, BD can't sub-contract the project work to Indian company. If it goes with 4% interest rate, We won't be mind who they outsource the work shares. I think not all these 25 billions projects funded by China will contract to Chinese company, so we make sure the money will not flow into Indian's pocket.

If the money lent by Chinese with only 2% interets rate goes into Indian pocket, we will be labeled as international jokes.

The latest looting scheme designed by ruling awami league will not appear so from the surface. A closer look will reveal the Awami League scheme. In some big development projects, some or most part were planned to fund with domestic development budget. Lately, most big project are planned using foreign fund, namely funds from China. With foreign funds, ruling Awami League taking local development budget away from these projects, turn around and providing domestic funds to support plundering by indian companies and to support captive market for india. Padma Rail Bridge is perfect example of Awami League scheme. Ruling regime originally slated this project to be done with domestic fund (after corruption scandal with WB funds). But later China agreed to fund the project.

Chinese intention was to help Bangladeshi people, there is no reason for China to benefit indian companies. Now China is having cold feet providing soft term loan that will not benefit Bangladeshi people but will be diverted to benefit indian companies.

even the brightest minds cant predict on a stable and performing economy, and yet you'd know where India is gonna to be in 13 years time? do you even know what competition means? would a high school sprinter be Usain Bolt's competitor?
