Coming to HK, again extradition works if both countries agree given you have a different system in HK and people have the right to protest. If Canadian people want to end extradition treaties, they can make it work.

As for why US targets Huawei, you can google and most say Huawei poses a big threat and challenge to US high tech domination, you can believe otherwise though.

This is a great opportunity to paint extradition as undemocratic, and only fit for communist governments like China and thus HK. Keeping any Huawei officials is undemocratic!
