The word Kashmir is an ancient Sanskrit word which literally means Land of Kashyap Rishi. Kashyap Rishi was a Saraswat Brahmin and one of the Saptarshis, who was key in formalizing the ancient Historical Vedic Religion. Thanks for the information and the indian claim of Kashmir. But india do not have the sole historical claim of Kashmir does it? couldn't Pakistan share the same claim?

People shouldn't compare Kashmir with Tibet because it is a territorial dispute in progress whereas Tibet, as you said, have been recognized even by your government as part of China.

I didnt find any indian member in this thread quetioning the status of tibet !!!
I just said china is hypocritical to india's cause knowing very well kashmir has been a part of india from 1000s of years !!!
And u can tell me will there be a country called pakistan hadnt the british colonised it too?
And u can claim tawang ,S.China sea, tibet as they are ur historical territories while india cant do the same to kashmir according to u or chinese rite???

While China has every right to back up its closest ally in a disputing territory issue and you and I both know, which is far from over, indian members trying to dispute with their own country's word on a long settled issue is not only trolling but futile.

When the great democratic government fail to totally honor its own said word, what more do you need to know about this country?
