In fact they thought homosapiens were the only group tht came out of Africa is not true anymore as we know that there are other groups such as Neantherdal that was already living in other places at that time, ie. in China , etc. DNA has shown that besides black people (maybe indians also, not sure), the rest of the world's people have at least 2-3% Neanderthal gene in us.

Mandate of Heaven is not a mythology. It is a Confucian concept, every emperor of china has to proclaim the mandate of heaven. Confucius is real, the concept is real, Chinese emperors are real too.
