& If the people of Tamil Nadu really care about the SL Tamils
Then they should have asked us to Further Engage with SL
Invest more in the Northern areas of Sri Lanka

India bowing down to TN or in other words, LTTE would not be seen as good by people of SL, though many would understand india's position. I admit indian PM tried his best to come to SL. but it makes us to question, if we dont have india's support in important problems what would we gain by becoming an ally of india?

And remember contrary to what many say here, india is the biggest foreign influence in SL. So SL would seriously analyse whther it really is worthy! Personally I want to see india-SL relations growing! The reality is ind-SL relations is much much more than TN tamils try to narrow it down.

Sri Lanka is a 65 billion economy but the tourism industry still adding less than 1% to the Sri Lankan economy.

Colombo port is leading port in South Asia (#1), Chinese has 85% share of new terminal means it's a disadvantage to India. It looks like India is totally depend on Colombo port.

SL don`t even need Indian tourists..in fact no country does..We want tourists that can spend money like Europeans , Arabs and Chinese...or tourists from Pakistan who genuinely love SL !

Indians have become the biggest burden for immigration as they tend to overstay , start up businesses illegally and also cause other tourists to avoid SL ( most tourists tend to avoid hotels that has lots of indians )

Most of the SL members I have seen here have high level of hostility towards India even though some Indian members here leave no stone unturned to boot lick the Sri Lankans by condemning PM's decisions. Grow some balls for God sake! India is a nation of over a billion people vs a tiny country like Sri Lanka whose army is acting no less oppressive than Ravan Sena towards the Tamils.

The only reason why Sri Lankans are acting tough is because Indians are acting weak. If India had a strong leader like Putin who put the Georgians in their place, then we would see.

where do you see SLns displaying hostility towards india barring a few? Actually it is a reaction to many claims made by TN tamils here. There was an indian saying India should annex SL. I dont believe supersticions but still that would invite hostility!
