You know...Viking1 sent its first pics within 20 minutes of landing...in 1976. I would expect your relays to be just as good.

Not yet

The lander arrived at night at 2:56:55 Mars local solar time (16:56:55 UTC) on July 4, 1997. The lander had to wait until sunrise to send its first digital signals and images to Earth. The landing site was located at 19.30° north latitude and 33.52° west longitude in Ares Vallis, only 19 kilometres southwest of the center of the 200 km wide landing site ellipse.

Chinese like to take their sweet time. :china:

Well China revealed 4 Chinese soldiers died in border skirmish with India 8 months after the fact.

So are we looking at a wait of 8, 9 or 12 months for the Pics and Videos of the Chinese rover ?

Unlike Indians we don't like to brag in a crisis, look at how the covid kebab situation is right now in India. Too much talking is a bad especially on deadly stuff. Lololol
