The crankshaft has a length of 23.5 meters and a weight of 488 tons, which will later be used by the ship engine that is going to be installed on a 22,000 TEU container ship, the world's biggest container ship so far.

China did sell to Hyundai one of these. Under some subcontract agreement. It's actually pretty hard to machine. I saw it in the China Mega Machines documentary by CCTV

very likely, government is running the prototype test in some unknown place.

Back to topic. This mega crankshaft is ordered by a ship engine builder in China. Later the engine will be transported to a shipbuilder in Shanghai (not sure Hudong Zhonghua or Waigaoqiao), and the engine will be installed on a 22000 TEU container ship under built there. The ship is ordered by CMA CGM, the French shipping company.
