Taiwan has its own passports. I know for example there is a office from Italy in Taiwan that gives Taiwanese visa for visiting Italy. For travelling Taiwan as EU citizen you only need a travel passport

Taiwan is a country (In every aspect). Just that, not many countries recognize it. And China cannot take them for their own because of the US. So, they are just there like an elephant in the room for China.

I have to agree with @ValerioAurelius on certain points. Certain Pan-African advocate groups claim the history of nearly all civilisations. This is understandable if there was common history but most cases are far fetched from reality.

The Pan-African movement mainly came out of the African-American community from the yearning for an indigenous culture and detachment from their roots, which created immense cultural insecurity. Different advocates seek different paths, a popular and easy path is to claim heritage to all major civilizations based on the "out of Africa" migration theory. This enables them to self justify attaching themselves onto another culture that they see as suitable for their cause. In addition they see African nations lacking that potential thus want to justify claims to ones with longer and more prosperous histories.

A common theme is claims based on superficial nomenclature. Just because they advocate for the pan african movement they will claim that North African equals sub-Saharan African. Nothing wrong with them appreciating and learning from other cultures to better themselves but to outright claim is lazy and proves lacking in character. To me this group has a very superficial understanding of civilization. Even if members of this group really had connections to these civilizations they will have a hard time fitting in. From personal experience this demographic cannot bear the torch of these civilizations and continue it. Civilization is not something to just brag about like a bling bling jewlery but it is a collective DNA (often evolve through time and experiences) that keeps a society alive and prosperous.

PS - I have seen Egyptian mummies in person and the bone structure doesn't look SSA.
