IN GDP PPP China is the world's largest economy.

But in GDP Nominal, not yet, but maybe in a couple years.

China doesn’t have a chance in hell of having the largest GDP in a couple years.

China doesn’t have a chance in hell of having the largest GDP in a couple years.

It already has the largest economy according to both the IMF and the CIA who use PPP.

China produces more of everything that's tangible than the US. And by a wide margin too.

Tells me how could a modern economy that produces 10 times less cars than China and uses 10 times less steel than China possibly have a gross national product (accumulation of goods produced) larger than China?

It doesn't. PPP accounts for that glaring descrepancy.

Let's face it nominal GDP inflates American goods and services (especially services -- a haircut in China is $5 while it would be $50 in the US.)
