Still i 'll never understand why so much dislike towards high IQ people,
especially they are not the ones who success and look to dominate other, in my point of view.
I think it's because of the word 'intelligence' in IQ and the implication that IQ is the definitive measure of intelligence. I am not putting down IQ tests, because I think they do measure a specific type of capability. If I was hiring people to design jet engines or cancer treatments, I would definitely favor people with higher IQ (among other factors).
However, there are other capabilities of the human brain which are not measured by IQ tests, including the ability to maneuver around social situations. People with high EQ usually tend to be socially successful and are leaders (for good or for bad).
I remember, when I was studying human evolution and anthropology, there are so many theories about the evolution of human intelligence: everything from bipedalism to tool making to diet to climate change have been proposed as contributing factors. But one theory which makes a lot of sense to me is that, due to fire (campfires) and language, social interactions gained extraordinary prominence in proto-human groups. While other animals also have social interactions, the human case is far more complex. The ability to remember, analyze, predict and respond to other people's (re)actions requires a lot of brainpower. Put that in a context of a dozen individuals -- each with mutual interactions -- and the need for transitive analysis, and the computational complexity quickly mushrooms.
Hence, according to this theory, it was not tool making but social climbing which was the driver behind more brainpower.
(Note that Homo erectus built tools which remained essentially unchanged for a million years, and was replaced by us).
I guess the education is the explanation for bad EQ as you say yourself Developereo.
I suspect that EQ, like IQ, is affected by some combination of nature (genetics) v/s nurture (environment, education, etc.) There is also a large cultural component; look at the famous way the Japanese behaved after the earthquake. It was absolutely mind boggling to most people around the world, especially compared to the selfish looting and profiteering that usually surrounds natural disasters in other parts of the world.
