　　３０００支红烛在风中摇曳，长明火映照在祭场四周的一座座无字纪念碑上……当晚，“和平烛光祭”在侵华日军南京大屠杀遇难同胞纪念馆祭场内举行。活动中，日本京都府真宗大谷派东本愿寺僧侣和南京毗卢寺僧人及居士先后为南京大屠杀遇难者诵念心经，唱三宝歌和祈祷歌。在僧侣们的诵经声中，全体人员向南京大屠杀遇难者敬香、奉烛，祈愿遇难同胞们得以安息，祝愿和平之夜永留人间。
