China gets tough against Hong Kong trouble-makers

. .
Who is the "Hong Kong people"?

Also where is the news of the survey from MingPao.

I have found this one, for Chinese speaker only:
©ú³ø¤ë¥Z

I wonder where did the [90%] from.

This data makes much clear.

90% you said?

I think many hongkongese don't care about the nationality,all they care is their money.in the colonial ages,most hongkongese don't fight against their british ruler like what arabs and muslims have done.they act more like southeast asian.

Everyone cares about $$ at the end.

HK is already freed.

DUDE, LOOK AT MY POST AND LOK AT YOUR STATISTIC.

I said in the year 2000 not now. And look at your statistic, how many think they are Chinese in the year 1999 - 2000. (LESS THAN 18.6 %) so it said 81.4% of interviewed Hong Kong Resident does not think or agree that they are Chinese. )It's on par with the figure i post)

You just put my evidence up for me.

Please read carefully what other people write before you troll on me, you don't see people trolling but end up supporting the view of the person to be trolled.....(I down on my floor laughing)

.
Lol,national pride is national pride,no such thing as positive national pride.

正面的(理智)愛國主義=13億人大團結

13億人大團結=13億人的力量

13億人的力量=所向無敵

所向無敵=其他人都是廢物

其他人都是廢物=大賺特賺

大賺特賺=$$

According to the data:

How many people think they are Chinese in the year 2000? (Around 23 %)
How many people think they are HongKong people in the year 2000? (Around 35%)

SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO?

How many people think they are BOTH HongKong people AND Chinese in the year 2000? (please do the counting yourself)

Lol,that's funny.but I think before you judge a national pride is a positive one or negative one,you should have one,otherwise it's just talk.

.
yes,like most southeast asian,some hongkongese don't have pride.In the end,it was simply just a colony of british empire.

I would have to say, a nation's pride is something you get from living throught the ups and down with a nation. The problem is Hong Kong does not live thru the ups and downs of China, you can't ask the People in Hong Kong to share the same sentiment to average people in China. They were not governed by the Chinese in the past 100 years and only 15 years of those are under chinese rule, they see China as a seperate entity and it's like a blank canvas, whatever the Chinese do will write in the mind of Hong Kong people, and whether or not they share a national pride to the other Chinese, is actually very much depending on China.

Dude, read more into your graph.

The data you quote is on June 2000 and if you have to count them you need to bring the number up from June 1999 as well.

Yes,but before they are proud to be a Chinese,they should be proud to be a Hongkonger.but how could someone wave a British flag claim that he is proud to be a Hongkonger?hongkong was just a colony of British empire.It was only a COLONY,god damn it.

.
I think that we can solve this problem only by Sinochallenger's way and i.e., drop a megaton nuclear bomb on Hong Kong. This will solve problem of protest against mainland China by people of Hong Kong because there will be no people who can protest against mainland China. And mainland Chinese can migrate there without any oppose.

From what i see and what i heard (Which wasn't much) from my Hong Kong Firend, those people DID NOT SUPPORT the British Government or British Rules, they just frustrated and wave that thign around, same occasion some dude are waving the Taiwanese flag, it wasn't photo.

When people got frustrated they will do everything to piss the current administration off.

The lack of National Identity is not the first time happened in Hong Kong, the problem is much much more deeper than any Chinese would imagine, unless you lived in Hong Kong for an extended period.

That's ROC flag, not Taiwanese flag.

The power of KMT is still influencing HK.

You distributed the rumor of the data and now this?
You are such a bad bad guy, such a no no.

And I don't think you can even understand what I said to him.

OK I correct it:

According to the data:

How many people think they are Chinese in the year in June of 2000? (Around 23 %)

Dude, for the third time, i am not gonna say again this time, what i say is 2000 i don't actually remember when was that but i was in Hongkong up to year 2000 then i move back to the US i was gone even before June 2000. What your studied is done throught a period of July 1999 - June 2000 and you are counting the figure from July 2000 to June 2001. Those are different figure, if you cannot see it, then i cannot help you with it

Assuming your study is right, then the average number should be between less than 15 % to about 23% not from 23 to 30% as they run thru the year 2001...

You can only be Chinese or not Chinese, so i doubt your graph actually mean anything as there are less than 50% at all time then where did the other 50% of people go??

The fact remain, 10-20% of people in 2000 call themselve Chinese, your graph just support what i say, i need not to fabricate anything. I started to wonder if you were actually from macau

That's ROC flag, not Taiwanese flag.

The power of KMT is still influencing HK.

tell it to the Taiwanese, don't tell me

Of course I saw that, but I still can't find the [90%] and [81.4% of interviewed Hong Kong Resident does not think or agree that they are Chinese], can you give me a hand?

The data is from Mingpao, the media you have mentioned.

The survey has 3 selections:

1.HK people (Not really like the identify of Chinese)
2.Chinese ([ex] People from Beijing: "I'm Chinese.")
3.HKpeople & Chinese ([ex] "I'm a Chinese, from Shandong.")

Is it clear?

And all Taiwanese knows that their official flag is ROC flag, that's a common sense.
Therefore I don't need to tell them, but you.

.
hong kong should be returned to indians as the indians along with the brits built HK. else it would have been a barren rock

indians dont have high self-esteem in HK as far as I know. for them to rule HK is like picking a 7-11 store keeper / janitor in new york to hold office in the white house
