I already told you. New Delhi is too close to China, and India is not a very cohesive homogeneous country. The Chinese army does not need to go to New Delhi. China can even completely destroy New Delhi with a huge long-range rocket group. And you can't hurt China, because India is adjacent to Tibet no man's land.

Tibetan Buddhism is divided into red religion, yellow religion, white religion and other sects.
The Dalai Lama is only the leader of the red religion, while the largest religion in Tibet is the Yellow religion. Yellow Sect is the enemy of red sect and firmly supports CCP. And the red religion has little influence in Tibet now.
Most importantly, how long can the Dalai Lama live? According to the classics of the red religion, the reincarnation ceremony must be held after the death of the Dalai Lama. And this ceremony must be determined by the Han government to reincarnate children, that is, the next Dalai Lama.
BTW: The 12th border guard regiment of the Tibetan militia, which killed many Indians in the kalevan River Valley, has a large number of Tibetan soldiers of the Yellow Sect. They are the Chinese soldiers who hate and despise Indians the most, so we deploy these soldiers on the Sino Indian border.

Chinas demographics problem is far more severe than Americas and due Chinas current ethno-nationalist society they won't be getting any immigrants.
If US can't protect(?) Ukraine why hasn't Russia taken Kiev and why China hasn't taken Taiwan? Certainly not due lack trying.
