China GDP growth to fall below 6% by 2020: IMF

This reporting is really annoying. I remember very clearly, just a few years ago, what were they saying? China has too much Foreign exchange reserve, growing too fast, too reliant on manufacturing.

What is the story now? FE going down, China is down, run for your life!!!! Growing only 6%?!?!?!?!? Manufacturing slowing down!!?!?!?!?

So pretty much China can do nothing right.

Exactly right.US is a racist country,It's much harder for Chinese people to go to the top.
Yes it's hard for Chinese to become executives in American companies.

These new immigrates from Chinese are not uprooting, more like they are just buying some vacation properties in countries where properties are cheaper comparing to China. And they are not giving up their Chinese citizenship.

Here are some reasons for emigrating:

1. Less crowed, better water, air;
2. Much easier to send kids to world class universities than in China;
3. Money laundry,
4. Investment on real estates,

They are NOT fleeing from China as you may like to think.

You are conflating two separate issues. You are talking about Chinese buying investment properties in US. I’m talking about Chinese who are emigrating to US for the sole purposes of permanently settling there. Many for the reasons you mention above.

And if you are leaving China because of money laundry, tax evasion, corruption, but I’m sorry, you are fleeing China. In addition, China does not recognize dual citizenship.

Then there is the practice of maternity tourism and many Chinese engage in it. Why? So their children will have US citizenship:

And why is there a surge of Chinese illegally entering the US?

The point of my post is that given how China is growing economically, and the standard of living getting better by the day, why so many Chinese are trying to emigrate to US, and other Western lands, legally and illegally.

There is a current trend in internet right now. In discussions people spread misinformation just to strengthen their position. Western press serves this purpose very well with their absolute junk articles. Since many people doesn't bother to read those articles and look only headings, your absolute crap thesis becomes a backed up thesis by some sources.

Let's analyze.

This article is a complete piece of American propaganda that has no value. I don't see any number. Just a few case studies. Makes interviews with 5 families and that's it. Why the hack do I care about 5 families which gives birth in US? Do I see a trend? Do I see statistics? No. Then this is garbage.

Let's head to this one. Your own article says :

But Muzaffar Chishti, director of the Migration Policy Institute's office at New York University's School of Law, said it’s important to understand the bigger picture.

“It’s tempting to say that this is a dramatic rise. In the scheme of things, it’s not a dramatic rise,” he said. “[China] is the world’s largest country.” In that sense, he said, the recent increase in border crossings represents "a drop in the bucket."

Now lets talk about real facts.

As one can see, Chinese immigration is a tiny fraction of it's population. The rise since 1985 is from 0.03% of it's population to 0.05%.

If I compare this data to another country like India.

Despite India has a decreasing trend of immigration, there is a huge difference between two countries. Compared to Indian immigration Chinese immigration is non-existent.

Yes, let's shoot the messenger because you don't like what it says.

As for the two charts you posted, what exactly does it prove? It kind of confirms my point that Chinese emigration is increasing. I made no mention of exact numbers, just that it was increasing, nor did I say it was large scale.

The point of my posts is why is Chinese emigration increasing in light increased economic prosperity.

I didn't even mention India. I don't know why you brought India into this conversation.

You know what, PDF indians are always in denial-mode...You can't argue with them with sensibility.
Overseas Chinese are one of the cornerstones of China.
We should send more Chinese abroad.
Australia has become our resources supplier, and their airports are in full Chinese-language mode. Many of their best suburbs have been completely sinicised. Many of them work as our proxy to do trans-border business.
We should encourage millions of Chinese to migrate abroad, let them get education and occupy best properties in US/Aus/Canada/NZ.
There is actually very high return...
