Yeah I know there are many countries with harsh laws. If he had smuggled drugs illegally then fine but if he was just a drug user then it is unfortunate. Why people all over the world consider this to be a big threat as terrorism I dont understand

No, the Japanese local senator is the 6th drug dealer.
Last day i read news China court will sentence him in next month, the Japanese senator carried 3 Kg meth (or ice) drugs in 2013 GuangZhou airport so i think he will be the 6th Japanese sentenced to death by China laws.

It's very stupid to carry 3 Kg drugs in China, a way to find death.

His name is Sakuragi Takuma, and he is a councilman in the city of Inazawa of Aichi Prefecture.

If he is guilty, then he deserves the punishment. We, too, have capital punishment in Japan.

Tho it would be more honorable if he committed Seppuku. His actions have dishonored his family and the position he represents.
