China donates Thailand fusion reactor

Isn't our friendship deeper than ocean sweeter than honey and stronger than steel. Then why?
We already have PARR-I and PARR-II operational and PARR-II was indegeniously developed and constructed. We can handle this department and the Chinese did offered us this reactor some years ago but we were not interested.

Mate, many of them use their women for promotions and favours..they drink, they do all kinds of nasty stuff...they are typical libtards.. you see likes of them on TV shows abusing Pakistan, its ideology, Islam (under the pretext of mullah)..
They use all powers to accumulate wealth through unfair means, they use all aids and scholarships for their own children to study abroad.. they become our ambassadors but bark against us, our culture, our religion, everything to get some favours from their masters...
These sons of whores are in excruciating pain after IK's win and his first speech in which he reiterated that he won't live in the PM palace rather in a home in ministers enclave. And even there he has selected the most modest home reserved for a minister of state. That means all your DCs, Commissioners, Judges and Secretaries who are living enjoying royal statuses in houses sprawling over acres of land, will have to vacate them and live in modest homes...Have you ever visited GORs?

Well said brother. The libtards are up in arms, but they are in for a shocker. Their time is up. Change is coming thick and fast.

Excellent info mate....there is nothing like an indigenously developed system even if it has less bells and whistles as long as it fulfils its main objective.

PARR are small fission reactors used as neutron sources for basic science research. Completely different matter.

But Americans had sold an inertial confinement fusion device long ago to Pakistan. But again, tokamaks use magnetic confinement.

There's not much use in buying an archaic device from China for millions unless there's a clear roadmap and funding in this field, which Pakistan lacks. So you should accept it only if it's free or dirt cheap, like Malaysia supposedly.
(Although this is a bribe to Malaysia since Chinese investments are at risk after the elections.)

So whats wrong with it, Thailand needed so they bought it, We didn't need it we didn't bought it

@Karl Please do not make up titles on your own hypothesis again for news. Title changed to correct one and moved to relevant section.

If you have an opinion, please add it later as a comment or post and NOT in the title.
The above goes for ALL members.

It is a smaller device compared to tokamak, different as well. However the question is, do we really plan to go down that road right now where we would have required the know how we can gain only from tokamak? The answer to me is, NO.

Exactly. Excellent analysis.

We need to invest in all tools required for high quality research where its tokamaks, supercomputers, LHDs and wind tunnels instead of spending billions of Rs on useless president, protocols and on maintenance of expensive residences for govt officials. PM house should either be sold, turned into a 5 star hotel or a research institute.
