Chinese central government allocated 465 million Yuan and Xinjiang local government 100 million Yuan to have had all kids living in poor underdeveloped far western regions in Xinjiang covered by nutrition meals program ( balanced nutrition meals must contain meat, milk, eggs, vegetables etc) . Almost all foreign press have their offices in China and thousands of correspondants reporting directly from the scene, what made you think that China doesn't allow foreign reporters? you confused China with N.Korea?

Not sure about everything but this one is. Common sense is that a closed country and nation can never achieve something the scale of what China did in recent decades, so have some common sense.
