Remake of landmark Architecture are done all over the world.
Nice catch. But, as
@Genesis says, you cannot confront an Indian with facts.
Tourism, so what , giving people who can not afford traveling abroad an experience. But modi love spending billions on some statues is beyond me.
If other people copy Great Wall, I don't see any problems but a compliment.
In fact, they do and this is a great thing:
The Great Wall of China All Around the World

The Great Wall of China is a marvel and it is a sight that everyone has to experience at least once. Of course, if you can't manage to get there, you don't have to settle for National Geographic. There are several amazing replicas around the world, which are quite fascinating.
Cebu Taoist Temple, Philippines
The main feature here is the temple, of course, which is a facility for those who want to worship as well as those who are just stopping by. Tradition is thoroughly entangled in the atmosphere. Walking barefoot and washing your hands are part of the rituals you will encounter. Also, it is common to drop two blocks of wood in front of you – if you find them the right way up, then you can make a wish.
The entrance to the temple is a replica of the Great Wall of China. You can see a lot of work has been done here and as such it is a popular tourist attraction for those who come to Cebu City.
Foo Lin Kong Temple, Pulau Pangkor, Malaysia
This is a Chinese temple, which attracts a lot of pilgrims from China who come to worship. However, the temple is also a popular place among tourists. Its tranquil setting with ponds and alcoves creates peaceful atmosphere.
Probably one of the most remarkable features is the Great Wall of China replica built next to the temple. It is obviously a mini-wall, but it is built in a really unique way to go with the whole setting.
Changxing Island, Dalian
In the Eastern part of the Bohai Sea, you will come across the Changxing Island. The island is well worth a visit, with a lot of advances in reaching out to the tourism sector in the last couple of years. There is a beautiful golf resort, fantastic scenery as well as the chance to see lots of animals, which have been protected. This is the perfect place to relax and get away from all of the hype that you associate bigger cities with.
The Great Wall replica is found on the Hengshan mountain range on the Western part of the island. It was built in 1999 and is 10 km long, so you are definitely not going to miss it. You will find beautiful sculptures carved with detail on the sides of the wall. As you walk, you will head out towards the scenery and you will be able to appreciate beautiful firs and oaks as well as a fine view of the mountain.
Splendid China, Kissimmee, Florida
Of course, the USA had to come up with a version of the Chinese Wall as well.
Splendid China was actually a great theme-park overall, but if you head off there today you will probably find a closed sign at the front entrance with a lot of overgrown weeds. The park couldn't compete with Disney World and had to close.
This is a pity because the local replica of the Great Wall of China was a great achievement. The replica is a half of a mile long and visitors can still explore its beauty.
Splendid China, Shenzhen, China
This is yet another popular destination amongst tourists. It not only contains a replica of the Great Wall, but it has scaled down a number of versions of other historical buildings and sites. It is definitely an interesting place to visit especially for kids. The miniatures here are well-crafted to represent the originals.
Landscapers have helped by making the gardens a place you can appreciate. The replica of the Great Wall of China is made with small green bricks and white stones. You will see three small sections here.

As for the Eiffel Tower:
Eiffel Tower – The Iron Lady and Her Sisters
Date 03.09.2012
The Eiffel Tower, one of the world's most iconic images, has been an inspiration that led to the creation of more than thirty similar towers and duplicates in the world. For instance,
in Blackpool, England the creation of the Blackpool Tower was a result of inspiration from the Eiffel Tower. John Bickerstaffe, the mayor of the town commissioned its construction in 1889 after visiting the Great Paris Exhibition. It was completed in 1894 and has since been a popular tourist attraction in England. Unlike the Eiffel Tower, the Blackpool Tower is not free standing as it has buildings contained in its base including the Tower Circus.
Another replica of the Eiffel Tower is found in China. In the western part of Shenzhen,
there is a theme park known as Window of the World. The park has around 130 reproductions of the world's most famous tourist attractions – e.g. Taj Mahal and the Pyramids of Egypt. All these attractions are squeezed in 48 hectares of land and considered to be one of the leading tourist attractions in China. One of these reproductions is a 108 meter tall Eiffel Tower replica that dominates the skyline.
There is also a replica of the Eiffel Tower at the Kings Dominion and King's Island. The replicas were opened in 1975 and 1972 respectively. Both of them are a third of the original size of the Parisian tower. Taft Broadcasting was their owner then and it was also in charge of their construction. Tourists can use the observation floor which is 80 meters high and see up to 18 miles of the surrounding region. It takes each elevator about 30 seconds to take a group of 50 visitors to the observation floor.
The France Pavilion, within the World Showcase area of the Epcot Park in Florida, has been themed to look like a Parisian neighborhood. It has a view of the Eiffel Tower (replica), fountains and a pool. Tourists in the area can enjoy shopping for French goods in actual shops on the streets. Visitors who are interested in French cuisine can wine and dine at the restaurants available. Currently, the two most popular restaurants are Les Chefs de France and the Bistro de Paris. The pavilion also has the Boulangerie Patisserie and a bakery.
Built in early 1990s, Tennessee's Eiffel Tower is another of many replicas of the original. It is also a landmark in the city of Paris, Tennessee. To commemorate the Memphis Day in 1990, students at Christian Brothers University decided to construct a replica of the Eiffel Tower. Each year, this festival is supposed to honor a country and in 1990 it focused on France. This replica is a wooden version of the Eiffel Tower and it is not quite tall. However, it stills attracts visitors who travel to the area.
The Tokyo Tower, an observations and communications tower standing at 1,091 feet, is a unique replica of the Eiffel Tower and is located in Tokyo, Japan. It is a lattice tower that was inspired by the Eiffel Tower. To comply with air safety regulations, the tower is painted international orange and white. It was built in 1958 and its main revenue sources are antenna leasing and tourism. To date, more than 150 million visitors, local and international, have visited the tower since it was opened. Tourists can enjoy their visit as there are shops, restaurants and a museum in FootTown (a four story building under the tower).

All in all, replicas are widespread around the world and is considered a normal application to let people have a feeling of foreign cultures at home. An Indian would not be able to grasp the idea because sub-Saharan level of human development. As for the Western press that mocks the replicas, they are hate-filled individuals and cannot be reasoned with.
