The value of gold is what somebody on some day is willing to pay for it. If you feel like paying $500 for a gram of gold then nothing is stopping you from paying that amount...unfortunately most people these days think $41 a gram is the most they'd pay.

This is like people seeing some item they own listed on eBay for $500...so their's must be worth $500 too. Unfortunately it is only worth anything when somebody actually buys it. Until then $500 is just a price.



They are also customers of countries other than China. So if you call simple competition "white"' fighting then I guess you have issues.

Fantastic fantasy. But the reality is different.

First of all, China has no propaganda of "super power". There is no intention of the "2.5 line war". There is no surgical attack on any country. China is just doing business. Why do all white countries fight China? What are their motivations? What benefits can they get?

The COMEX and the London Fix prices are close but not always in sync. However this is not the entire world market. They are just places with high volume sales. Again it is just like having a 24 hour version of eBay in the US, the U.K. and somewhere else with people bidding on the same product. In one market it may go for $500 in another $510 and in another $490. So what's the global real price? It's just speculation.

Impossible in short term. The internationalization of RMB is naturally expected along with the growing size of China economy however US dollar still pretty much dominate global transactions not only in oil etc, it also dominate many other sectors, e.g. military hardware. As long as USA keep its domestic politics and economy stable, dollar is still a dominant currency in a long time. RMB can be an appealing option for any country to diversify their asset and risk management.

For KSA, a small portion of RMB in oil transaction could be a leverage to bargain with USA,
just like the S-400 deal with Russia, nothing more than that in short term. Dollar is not a pure economy issue even if China is its biggest customer, it's a critical safety issue irrelevant with money. For Russia and Venezuela, RMB is definitely a good choice at current stage.

In the long run, it's expected that US$, Yuan, Euro respectively get their own share in global trade.

I dont know what is the gold rate is in Burkina faso (with all due respect) but most of the world follow these standards. You need to understand the concept of paper gold which is used to suppress the value of precious metals.

Not humility. It's pure truth. Chinese culture is very different from the other part of the world, it's very difficult for the rest of world to accept dominance from China, e.g. language. English is linga franca of science, technology, and business etc.

China also is not interested to act as a super power, however, China does can act as an important global power.Super power doesn't only mean big economy and big gun.

You are misinterpreting what these gold prices mean. It just means the prices in these specific markets are x, y, and z.

China could open a market tomorrow and declare it $600

Russia could open it up the next day and say $700

India could open one up the next and say $800

What is the gold price then?
Your concept of an accepted gold price only occurs when the prices of these markets start to come to equilibrium with each other. It is only then that a "price" is determined.

This just shows how the price of gold is just as hokey as the price on a used car.
